Testimonials

The following are genuine comments from satisfied customers:

I have had problems with my elbow of and on for a few years it was getting so difficult to do my work because of the pain, it was suggested I try reflexology. I was bit reluctant but tried it, after about 3 treatments I was shocked at how well my arm felt, I have not had any pain since and can continue with my work with no problems. I would now recommend Jane to anyone, she is really friendly and puts you at ease it is also very relaxing.

I find reflexology gives me a deep sense of well-being and is wonderfully relaxing. It helped me turn the tide after a debilitating bout of shingles.

I have found reflexology extremely helpful and relaxing. It reminds you of the parts of your body, and how dependant they are on each other. It helps you care for the weakest parts, often with simple treatment – drinking more water and exercising more regularly. Jane Andrews has a relaxing personality and that in itself is a large part of a successful treatment, it can make a big difference with your outlook on life and comfort of your body.

I was introduced to reflexology when I fell pregnant with twins. I gained over 4 stone in weight, my waistline expanded by 22 inches but I felt great. My legs and ankles had minimal swelling, my back took the punishment . I am convinced that my regular reflexology treatment had a big part to play in easing my back pain and keeping me healthy. 8 months on, the weight is off, my waistline has returned and I still look forward to my regular reflexology treatment.

In May 2005, I attended Jane for a course of reflexology for help with symptoms I was experiencing due to the hormonal effects when weaning my son off breast feeding ie mood swings, lethargy and bloatedness. Over a period of nearly 3 months I noticed a vast improvement – as did my family! A bonus was the relief reflexology gave me from chronic sinusitis too.

The Munro family! - I can highly recommend reflexology. Just before Christmas 2006 I had really painful back problems. I contacted Jane and even after the first treatment the pain was so much easier, I had 4 treatments and have never had the pain again, I couldn't believe it as I have suffered back problems frequently for 17 years. I think it is fantastic.
My daughter, Emma (age 9) suffers from blephiritis which is an eye problem, it can be really irritating as it forms crustiness across the lashes which can become hot and itchy, she has had a series of treatments from Jane and it is almost gone. She is amazed at the results and still frequently asks if Jane can come to her again, not that she has a problem just she really enjoys the treatment.

A word about stress

It is estimated that 70% of disease is stress related. Short term effects of stress include insomnia, headaches, recurrent infections to name but a few. Long term effects of stress are more serious. Regular reflexology and / or Indian Head Massage may alleviate the effects of stress by inducing deep relaxation and are both therefore an excellent form of preventative medicine. Relaxing and calming, your body’s own healing mechanisms are triggered to begin a holistic approach to wellbeing.

Drink more water!

You know the rule, drink 6 - 8 glasses every day but also make sure you drink plenty of water after your treatment!

After reflexology and Indian Head Massage (and most other therapies for that matter), the therapist will always remind you to drink water. This is to help the body rid itself of toxins stirred up during the treatment. The body gets rid of these toxins through the kidneys, keeping hydrated allows your body to work properly and will assist in rapidly flushing toxins from the system – ultimately helping the healing process.
