About the practitioner

I am married with 4 children, with a working background in office management. I first discovered reflexology several years ago, when one of my children was referred to a complimentary therapy nurse. Through reflexology we were able to help him to get better. I am passionate about and very committed to reflexology and am continually amazed by the results.

For reflexology I trained with the Bayly School in 2005 and am fully qualified and insured and a member of the British Reflexology Association and the Scottish Institute of Reflexology

During the early part of 2007 I completed an ITEC qualification in Indian Head Massage through the The Edinburgh Therapy Academy.

You can view my ITEC qualification here.

I have found this to be a great stress buster for people living a busy and full lifestyle, it’s a treatment that can be carried out anywhere and is extremely quick and effective in terms of results.

I am based in the south of Edinburgh but am happy to travel to your home within the Edinburgh area or Midlothian.

Drink more water!

You know the rule, drink 6 - 8 glasses every day but also make sure you drink plenty of water after your treatment!

After reflexology and Indian Head Massage (and most other therapies for that matter), the therapist will always remind you to drink water. This is to help the body rid itself of toxins stirred up during the treatment. The body gets rid of these toxins through the kidneys, keeping hydrated allows your body to work properly and will assist in rapidly flushing toxins from the system – ultimately helping the healing process.
