About the practitioner

I am married with 4 children, with a working background in office management. I first discovered reflexology several years ago, when one of my children was referred to a complimentary therapy nurse. Through reflexology we were able to help him to get better. I am passionate about and very committed to reflexology and am continually amazed by the results.

For reflexology I trained with the Bayly School in 2005 and am fully qualified and insured and a member of the British Reflexology Association.

During the early part of 2007 I completed an ITEC qualification in Indian Head Massage through the The Edinburgh Therapy Academy.

I have found this to be a great stress buster for people living a busy and full lifestyle, it’s a treatment that can be carried out anywhere and is extremely quick and effective in terms of results.

You can view my ITEC qualification here.

In June 2008 I completed a course of professional training in Thermo-Auricular Therapy. This is proving to be very helpful for all conditions related to the ear, nose and throat, with excellent results in helping to improve hearing in adults who have excessive wax problems and really helpful for children with glue ear.

I am based in the south of Edinburgh but am happy to travel to your home within the Edinburgh area or Midlothian.

Drink more water!

You know the rule, drink 6 - 8 glasses every day but also make sure you drink plenty of water after your treatment!

After your treatment, the therapist will always remind you to drink water. This is to help the body rid itself of toxins stirred up during the treatment. The body gets rid of these toxins through the kidneys, keeping hydrated allows your body to work properly and will assist in rapidly flushing toxins from the system – ultimately helping the healing process.
